This Privacy Policy explains how City Views collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website or app and related services, including the community feed and City Views Shop.
• Account and Profile: name, email, username, preferences, and profile media you choose to upload. • Content: photos, videos, stories, comments, locations, tags, and related metadata you submit. • Usage Data: pages viewed, features used, device/browser type, IP address, timestamps, and cookies. • Commerce: when shopping, order‑related details may be processed by providers (e.g., Shopify, TikTok Shop, Stripe, PayPal, Cash App). We do not store full payment card data on our servers.
• To provide and improve the platform, personalize content, enable social and moderation features. • To operate the Shop catalog and display products from third‑party platforms. • To communicate with you about updates, support, moderation decisions, and promotions (where permitted). • To detect, prevent, and respond to security incidents, misuse, or fraud.
We process data to perform our contract with you, based on legitimate interests (e.g., platform safety and improvement), with your consent (when required), and to comply with legal obligations.
• Service Providers and Platforms: we integrate with third parties to run core features (e.g., Shopify, TikTok Shop, Stripe, PayPal, Cash App, email providers, analytics). • Community Visibility: content you post may be visible to other users according to your privacy settings. • Legal and Safety: we may disclose information to comply with law or to protect users, the public, or the platform.
We keep information as long as necessary to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention may differ by content type and legal requirements.

City Views is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us via the Support page so we can take appropriate action.

You can request deletion of your City Views account and associated personal data at any time. To submit a request:
• Open the Support page in the app and send a message with the subject “Delete my data”.
• Or email us via the Support page contact listed there.
What we delete: your profile data, posts, comments, notifications, and support tickets that are not required to be retained. We may retain minimal records if necessary to comply with law, resolve disputes, or prevent abuse. After verification of the request, deletion is typically completed within 30 days and you’ll receive a confirmation.
We use Meta's Pixel and Conversions API to measure the effectiveness of our outreach and improve your experience. These tools may collect information about your visit, such as pages viewed and actions taken, and share it with Meta Platforms, Inc.
